| To generate accurate costing information in AXIOM it is
important that the standard lot size for a part should equal (or at least be
close to) the typical order size for that part. In today's economy, rapidly changing
constraints force concessions on lot sizes to secure business. One's costs and margins could get out of
alignment with the selling price and dramatically affect profitability. This utility scans the AXIOM data base,
identifies discrepancies between standard lot sizes and recent order sizes,
allowing your cost accountant to modify the standard lot size if necessary. |
